The Problem With Problem and Solution Essay Topics in Education
The Problem With Problem and Solution Essay Topics in EducationIn my experience, the problem is far more prevalent in some subjects than others. In a study I recently completed at an AP English class, I found that nearly 40% of students in the class had issues with specific types of problem and/or solution essay topics in education. In short, one type of topic in this area in particular is among the most problematic.Perhaps this will be easier to grasp if we think about how essay topics are used in class. The goal of most students is to demonstrate their ability to solve problems or come up with solutions based on existing knowledge. However, students who are struggling in this area usually struggle with essay topics as well. This is because they feel awkward or unprepared for writing about their own experiences or questions. This is due to several factors. The biggest reason is simply because they feel unsure of what they should write or how to write it.Writing essays is not easy. If you don't know what you are doing, you will likely make mistakes. This is true whether you are writing for yourself or for your class. You will encounter lots of information overload. As a student, you know the feeling of fear that comes along with giving your lecture or project on a topic that you have not thoroughly researched or read about. For many students, this is going to be a project that they have not taken time to prepare for. Furthermore, they often feel that they have no one to turn to but themselves. They are afraid that their ideas are going to be too personal and they will fail miserably in this project. Then they might even feel that they are bad at solving problems or coming up with solutions. However, the reality is quite different. Most students who are struggling with this problem or question have not even addressed the issue. That is, they haven't studied or researched about it.Students who are struggling with problems and solution essay topics in education tend to bring up topics that have already been discussed in previous lessons. For example, they may say something like, 'I want to tell my story and how I feel about the topic of schooling.' Another student might say, 'I want to share how I feel about the topic of this year's AP English course.' These students who are struggling with this issue are focusing on the topic without delving into any depth. To overcome this problem and continue to write well, it is crucial that you begin to talk about the topics you already know. It is also crucial that you choose topics that have already been discussed in previous classes. This is crucial to getting past this problem as well as the main reason why you are writing the essay in the first place.
